Sixth Grade Mathematics is an incredibly important year. We will begin the transition away from standard computation and start to examine variables and symbolic expressions. We are building the foundation for all of your future math classes. Because of the incredible importance and challenge of this year, I have provided several very useful resources for you.

Core Concepts Notes- This is a link to all of the core concepts and practices for every topic in sixth grade math.

Periods 1,2,4,7 Khan and Virtual Nerd Videos- This is a collection of video nerd and Khan academy links that offers practice for almost every skill that is taught.

Period 8 Study Khan and Virtual Nerd Videos- This is a collection of video nerd and Khan academy links that offers practice for almost every skill that is taught.

Power School for Students and Parents- Students will need to use Power School to access all of their math materials. The user name and password are the same as what they use to log in to their laptops.

Google Classroom- You will need your child's school log in to access Classroom. Ask your child for help logging in. Homework and hand outs are posted to classroom. Many teachers use Classroom to share important class information.
